New Boats: When we started researching kayak manufacturers to carry, we looked for companies that share our kayaking philosophy: The sport should be accessible to everyone; boat design standards should focus on simplicity, performance and durability; and customer service always comes first! We found all these qualities in one company: Liquidlogic of Asheville, North Carolina. Liquidlogic was voted 2006 Kayak Manufacturer of the Year and continues to produce simple yet cutting-edge designs that are competition proven. Plus, we really love to paddle 'em! While Liquidlogic is our primary kayak brand, we are always doing our research and periodically stock boats from Fluid, a South African company, as well as whitewater and touring boats from Pyranha and Venture. Used Boats: Gradient also offers a diverse selection of used kayaks. Many are rental or instructional kayaks from our fleet that we are rotating out of use. These boats are all modern designs and typically see very little use other than class II whitewater or flatwater instruction. In addition, we carry miscellaneous older kayak models from a variety of manufacturers for folks looking for a great value.
